2025 - November - Brian M and Paula.

 

What a successful November meeting, at home of our hosts, Brian and Paula. Many of you came and made the effort to travel to Esk. The weather turned out to be great, with rain not eventuating and the scenery looking very green and happy. We appreciate those who contributed to the lovely spread that was put on as well.

 

The music was purely a vinyl show. A cross mix of Classical and Modern music was available to listen to. The entire vibe was relaxing.

 

This is what happens when we mix and mingle with good company, food and sounds.

The Equipment

 

The main system is in an open plan living/dining/kitchen space. There is also a full home theatre system set up, but the main system is what was demonstrated.

 

Turntable: Origin Live Resolution turntable with two tonearms.

Phono pre-amp: Icon Audio valve phono stage.

​

Power Amplifier: Bi-amped by a Myryad power amplifier.

 

Speakers: Vandensteen 2Ce Signature II.

 

A range of different cartridges were on display (Ortofon MM and MC, Garrott, Grado, Audio Technica, Shure).
