2014 August - Ashley D.

 

If I remember correctly it also rained at Ashley’s previous meet but this time it poured down.

So it was really good that so many members came out on such a miserable day.

However, a good feed, good company and excellent music soon turned the affair into a “sunny” afternoon.

We had a chance to listen to a new Naquadria Lucien mostfet amp and later in the afternoon switch in large mono block valve amps.

Thanks again to Ashley, especially as he’d only moved into the new house a few weeks ago.

Primare CD31 modded with valve balanced to unbalanced converter
Naquadria passive preamp
Naquadria valve mono blocks 6×6550 valves per channel
Elac 249 modded speakers.
