Mathew’s meets are always interesting as he usually has something new up his audio sleeve.
His main room had something for everyone whether you were a vinyl, CD or tape fan.
The Nakamichi Dragon CT turntable is always magical to watch centre the disks rotation and for those who hadn’t heard the now rare Nakamichi Dragon Electrostatic speakers it was a great opportunity to hear these ELS’s.
I think a lot of us enjoyed the headphone room, the chance to hear the Stax SR-009’s and to compare then to other Stax models brought along for the day plus some other more standard but excellent ‘phones.
Thanks also goes to Bill Hendry for cooking the BBQ and again Matthew topped it off with his delicious home baked sour dough bread – a man of many talents!
